This is perfect! It’s very strong! It was able to stay in the ground after my German shepherd repeatedly tried to rip it out of the ground! It gets rusty however it does not effect it’s ability to keep her in the yard! It works exceptionally well. It’s the perfect length. The appearance is great!

Works very well for my 135 lb Akita. He is not much of a runner, but when he gets the zoomies this shows no sign of weakness!!!A bit difficult to put into the ground, but worth it to keep my baby safe.Picture of my snow loving boy for size reference!!

I have an 85 lb American Bully - This works perfect for him but he is also lazy so he doesn't run that much ha ha. I think if he used all of his power he could pull it out but he knows the limit and doesn't try to get off of it. Good product for the money and it is pretty sturdy.

My dog is a powerful seventy pounder who pulls normal stakes right out of the ground. So far, this one hasn't budged at all.Installing it was a little tougher than one of those bendable things that you find at the local everything store, but my soil has many rocks and roots. I believe when screwing it into the ground I hit one of those roots and it made the stake go in slightly crooked but I still managed to get nice and flush with the ground.I think this thing will last for a long time and I won't have to worry that my dog will go exploring and get hung up by her tie out somewhere far away.

Bought this specifically for the beach. I had to really try and dig it deep into the sand and it was still a little wobbly. Thankfully my dog isn’t aggressive at all so it worked (he’s a 90lb pitbull). Its easy to use and I like the bag and extra little stick it comes with to help turn the drill-y part. I only gave it 4 stars because of the sand thing which I do also take into consideration that it was sand after all and the digging really depends on the beach. Still love this can’t wait to try in dirt which I’m sure will work even better.

I had a Belgium malinios. Adopted her from the shelter. She had aggression issues and since I have experience with dogs and she liked me (she didn’t like most people/I was a volunteer at the shelter) they adopted her out to me in hopes she would get better.I don’t have a yard so this allowed her to be outside in the sunshine where she loved to be. I used this with the Royal Paw cable. It is high quality, definitely chew resistant, and lightweight. It definitely worked well. If I remember correctly it’s manufactured in the U.S., if you value that (I do). The only frustration I had was screwing it into the ground. They give you a bar to screw it in, which 100% helps screwing it in. I live in rocky terrain so it wasn’t all that pleasant. If ever I need another, I will be going through this company again as it is high quality and definitely worth the investment. At one point my landlord even ran over it with His ranch truck and nothing broke or bent. I was pretty impressed by that.Grace (my malinois) was about 22 inches tall, agility was outstanding, and weighed about 60 lbs. She was also insanely strong, yet the screw-in didn’t budge.I bought the black one. It’s been outside for about 6-8 months now (through rain, shine, and snow) and still no rust.

I purchased this as a convenient tie-off for my two dogs while camping. I’ve used it so often! I have an 85-pound black lab and a 75-pound goldendoodle. They’re both super strong and I put both of them on just one stake. It held great and didn’t pull out of the ground at all! Of course they get tangled up a little bit, but it’s worth giving them more space to romp around and giving me peace of mind that they’re not going anywhere. The additional tool was super helpful to get it the whole way in the ground. It takes a couple quick minutes, but not hard. Might get a second one just because I like it so much. Worth the extra spend for heavy duty in my case.

Holds firm and prevents my baby from wondering when not looking 110% of the time; challenging to screw into the earth based on location, but the struggle is what makes the device effective; spoke makes the entire process work; grass, field, etc. looks normal after removing the screw; very secure carabiniere ring; works well with multiple length of line; provides peace of mind to ensure my princess can have fun too and those around us are comfortable too

I own two very powerful dogs. One a female Cane Corso -130 pounds and one male American bulldog -80 pounds. These are big dogs. I needed a product that would do a big job. We are unable to fence our yard until the spring, but needed to secure our dogs in the yard for the meantime. Very strong, thick and durable. Dealing with Canadian winters, we were pleasantly surprised that it stood the test snow and freezing rain . Highly recommended great value for your money.

A great tool for creating a little “doggy-ziplineâ€. We used the two devices when camping. They are quite difficult to screw in when the ground is tough or has stones in it, however even with only 2/3rd of one screwed in there was basically no movement when trying to push them back & forth.I did find them difficult to screw in with stones, not to get past the stones but because without much downward pressure, the “blades†of the device simple just chew up the soil and leave nothing for it to bind/grip into.I found that putting a lot of my body-weight onto it whilst trying to screw them in was the best method but quite difficult to manage. Overall they worked great once set up, but could be quite frustrating if they were removed and reinstalled frequently.

Works well. got a 125 lbs Lab that loves to run around and this kept him from running off in the wilds. You do need to buy a cable to go along with this thou, so just make sure you buy something strong to go with it. Also be careful as, as soon as my leant he could knock things over with the cable, nothing in the area was safe (table, chairs, water bowl all went flying). Spike didn't come out of the ground thou.

Was very excited for this. When I got the package though, there were spots where the paint had come off and it looked like it had been repaired very cheaply. The bag it came in already had holes in it too. Very disappointing when you have paid to dollar for this. I will try the stake and I hope it works well enough to keep.
