The seal inside the USA made cartridge failed after 10 yrs of use and allowed a small drip from the shower head. I ordered this replacement, and now after just 6 months of use, a water drip is coming from the shower head again. If you have to replace this every 6 months, then this is simply junk !!

(Update)The installation went as planned, be sure to clean and apply anti-seize tape to the threaded portion of the receptacle (shower valve body) before installing the bonnet. This will prevent having to cut the bonnet the next time.The cartridge install was strait froward, no difficulty with fitment, no leaks afterward. I would purchase again, but I bought two (one with the bonnet)The parts arrived quickly (earlier than estimated), all was in tacked. I have not installed the cartridge yet, so I will need to update following installation.

Had a 20 year leaking Delta shower controller valve , replaced with this new one and it solved the problem.my only recommendation would be to have plumbers grease to lube the outer oring and the hot cold small orings , as it is tough to get back into the valve body with lube , as you risk damaging the orings . Also good idea to clean or polish the valve body seats with fine scotch brite to make sure the sealing surface are smooth and clean of debris .

Plumbers installed both cartridges and neither one would let the water get warm enough. I ended up having to pay a great deal more for cartridges supplied by the plumbers. Since there was a delay in the project start date I am unable to return. I would not order these again. Completely unsatisfied.

I have a 2004 Delta series 1400 faucet. was put in new with my new home. The cartridge fits but the bonnet nut they sent for a 2004 1400 series faucet does not fit. Had to call and pay a plumber $300 to find this little fact out. Had it all ready to go back together and the bonnet nut would not seat and continually cross threaded. Turn on the water and got a shower multiple times. Buyer be aware of this small thing or it will cost you big...
