The tolerance is slightly off and won’t fit in the valve body it’s supposed to. I wasted a ton of time figuring this out. I have now ordered the exact part but from Delta.

I used this RP19804 cartridge to replace the old one in my Delta shower. It was super easy to install and works flawlessly with my Delta 1400 series faucet. The water pressure is steady, and the temperature balance is perfect. Very satisfied with this product!

The cartridge won't allow the same amount of hot water as the one I replaced. Luke warm even after adjusting it to its highest setting

Fits and works the way it’s supposed to. The only thing is if your set screw has any calcium deposits on it don’t depend on the Allen wrench they send with this. They are junk. Just plan on bringing one out of your toolbox.
