Tape is sturdy, sticks well and provides a nonslip grip—all for a reasonable price

This is a 1 inch wide grip tape with very mild anti-slip texture. It claims waterproof and 16.5 ft long . It can be used for many things incl gym equipment , tools or accessibility equipment. Imagery is a little misleading its not 3M adhesive backing. Also felt pricey (at 13 at time of writing) . Still a decent mildly aggressive rubber grip tape !

Good grip tape. Not good for cushioning -- if that's what you're after, get some bicycle handlebar tape. This is good for a positive connection with a hand tool. This isn't the softest or grippiest rubber, but it's enough to give a bit better connection, especially on smooth/damp surfaces. It's easy to wrap and sticks well. I won't expect it to last for decades, or for hard wearing surfaces, but it's fine for now.

Great for re-covering pickle ball racquets, tool handles, and many other uses. Provides a small amount of insulation & grip for levers in extremely cold conditions. Can act as a wrap to prevent objects from clanging together, slipping or damping vibration. A good, handy item to have around the shop/ garage.

I obtained a similar adhesive-backed grip tape in sheet form a few months ago which gives me two basis for comparison. This tape, like the prior tape provides very little grip when applied (upward) to a surface with the intention of gripping things placed on it. It works better when applied to the object - that has some significant downward weight - to keep it from slipping on surfaces. The similar pattern sheet goods had better grip in that approach versus this one. This pattern is less deep and the surface is less rubbery. I am also not impressed with this tape applied to an object for hand holding. I have far better success with similar grip tapes that have the very fine aluminum oxide (sandpaper) particles. The waterproof attribute might be the one benefit.

This grip tape is great! The adhesive is really tacky and holds well. I picked this up because I had built a wooden ramp for my lawn tractor so I can service the underside. However on my concrete workshop floor, the ramps would slide when I tried to drive up on them. I needed something to help grip the floor. The grip tape greatly improved the traction. I used the entire roll, so I have to buy more to try it on other things. This is a great thing to have around. I recommend.

Needs to be grippier. Size and material is good.

This is excellent grip tape and I have used it for some of my wooden handled tools which keep slipping in my hands during use. This tape solves the problem. It is expensive, so I recommend you buy the 2" or wider version as it is much more cost effective.
