I have two dogs, 25 & 18 pounds. The smaller one has a very bouncy, zig-zag walking style, and will usually flip flop between walking on the left and right of my other dog. This coupler never once twisted on the 2-3 mile walk we tried it on. It always corrected itself, no matter where my dogs were positioned to each other. It definitely needs to be used with a leash clip that swivels, though, since there is not a built in swivel at the leash attachment point. Even though I have smaller dogs, they are very powerful once they start pulling, but this coupler helped lessen the pull because of the strong elastic. I also love that this has the Ruffwear crux clips that lock, which gives extra peace of mind. This coupler is fairly short though, and while it worked perfectly for my two smaller dogs, I’m not sure how well it would work for bigger dogs. For me and my dogs, this is the perfect coupler and makes solo walks with them so much easier.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter, she has 2 dogs. It is amazing! The bungee works like a dream to keep the strain off the human as the dogs pull more on each other. It never tangles and has proven to be indispensable dog gear for hiking.

Paired this with the leash from the same brand. It’s much better than cheaper ones where the clips wore out. My two cavalier King Charles spaniels walk on this every day. We don’t have twisting problems and it’s holding up very well. It was worth paying more for the good quality here

Another Ruffwear product win. We have been using Ruffwear with our dogs for a while now and have been happy with their products. As my newer dog got older I was looking for a way to hold fewer leashes while out walking my dogs. This provided me with the perfect solution. As with all of the Ruffwear products we have used it has both met and exceeded our expectations.

We have two high energy border collies that get walked several miles per day. One dog is very reactive towards others. Up until yesterday I was walking them on independent leashes, then the Double Track arrived in the mail. I’ve always been super impressed with Ruffwear quality; we have two collars and a vest. Both dogs have vests, but the reactive dog has a non-Ruffwear vest.Anyway, walking both dogs on independent leashes was a chore and sometimes painful. Talking about hand pain, hip pain, knee pain. This Double Track arrived yesterday and I immediately put it to use. What an improvement! Not only was it massively easier to walk both dogs in terms of control and strength involved, the reactive dog was much calmer and behaved around other dogs we passed than on a regular leash. This was one of the best investments we’ve made for our dogs, and Ruffwear quality will always have me coming back. No longer do I dread taking the dogs on a long walk.Time will tell how long the elastics last, but they seem very tough and durable. Even if I only get two years or heck even one year out of this product, I’ll definitely be back to buy another.

Have not tried it with dogs as yet. Both very strong walkers, so not hopeful. However, it is extremely well made and very functional for what it is intended for. Have no complaints

Très pratique pour promener 2 chiens. Ce coupleur permet de ne pas emmêlé 2 laisses. Ses mousquetons sont très solides et sécurisés, surtout pour les chiens qui tirent beaucoup.Je conseil ce produit.

Recently adopted a 2nd dog. We used the double track to teach our new puppy how to walk along side our 2 year old other dog.Our puppy learn not to pull and walk straight fairly quickly with the double track from Ruffwear.The only feedback/warning I would give is that it’s a pretty short range between the 2 tracks so we had a few accidents where one dog peed on the other.

I really liked using it, but the stretchy wavelength webbing part is really weak, and it stretched out after just four months of use.The color and metal clips are great, but the elastic is so weak that this leash will become unusable in the near future. It’s very disappointing, but I might purchase and try it again.
