This is a simple, quick mod that makes a visual impact. And thanks to the Rugged Ridge rebate, it basically cost me nothing (having just spent plenty on their XHD rear and front bumpers, and standard ends...which I promptly cut down to mid-width). I read other reviews and took their advice, to drill out the "inside" hole (from the bottom), which definitely helped with installing that tight bolt. Aside from that, install was fast and easy (for a change). I opted to angle it forward instead of back (towards the grill). Just personal preference, but it "should" help protect my bumper lights, and there's plenty of room to remove the grill if I need to. Feels solid (not a tow/recovery point), but also light. Seems like an overall good product and a good value. FWIW mine came with bolts/washers (seen other reviews that didn't include bolts), they were a bit longer than the ones that came with the base bumper, but otherwise the same.

Very happy with the Hoop - the wrinkle texture is excellent, the hoop is solid and heavy. The fit is perfect (I purchased the XHD over a year ago), paint and finish are perfect. It fits either leaning in or leaning out like a stinger. I'll try it leaning in; maybe try moving it out for a different look at some point.The packaging was excellent - it was triple-wrapped in foam wrap, cardboard protection, and shrinkwrap over everything. That, and foam in the box; it was perfectly protected.The ONLY complaint I have is that I didn't read the description carefully. IT DOES NOT COME WITH BOLTS! I was really dejected when I saw the bar, by itself, in the package. If you did, like me, install the XHD modular bumper in stages, be aware that you'll also need to track down the original bolts or purchase M8 x 20 Bolts (8) and matching washers (8) to complete the install. I'm heading to the parts store, now, but it took awhile to figure out the exact size.It looks great over the WARN 9.5 CTI with plenty of room to spare, and with a pair of KCs bolted to it, it looks even better.

I needed to elevate the winch off of the mounting plate for my application. These spacers were perfect for that, and they included the proper extended length M12-1.75 bolts needed to fasten to my which mounts.Nice powder coat finish too, so no worries about rust later on.

This is a great product and looks awesome on top of my XHD, The only criticism I have is that the 2 interior bolts were difficult to align and tighten as they didn't leave much room away from the main bar. The other 6/8 bolts aligned fine and tighten nicely. Over all it was doable, however it was a bit frustrating trying to align and tighten the 2 bolts on the inside.

I put this on my JKU, it has Putco Rubicon look alike frt bumper. It fit on the bumper great. I had to drill holes, which was easy. This bar is not too high and not too low, Perfect. I have 6 inch lights and they fit nicely underneath.The bar is a good diameter, not too big and not punney. Excellent value compared to other bars. You won't regret it.

One side of the bar was not centered on the flange and one of the mounting holes was to close to the bar for the bolt to fit. Rugged Ridge said they would replace it if I shipped it back. I cut off the bolt head and glued it in place since the other bolts hold it on effectively. The front and rear bumpers were a big problem installing them.

I bought these spacers to use with my XJ's OR-Fab winch bumper so I could mount a Warn XD9000. The XD9000 is larger than the "average" winch and the end was banging into the angled outer lip of my bumper mounting plate area, preventing it from sitting flush with the plate. These spacers provided exactly the right amount of room for the end to clear the plate lip. They are way more robust than an equivalently thick stack of fender washers, and will do a much better job of withstanding winching forces. The package comes with the longer bolts necessary to properly secure the winch, too, so no worries there. The hole spacing is a standard size (or at least standard to Warn, I'm betting it's an industry standard too), which means there are probably many more uses for these, too, besides just the PP winch on one specific bumper. Bravo!

Product is textured matte black finish. Also comes with 8x M12 hex bolts with washers and spring washers, 4x L brackets with welded M12 nuts, approximately 12 rubber plugs (2 different styles) and some self tapping 8 gauge screws and washers. Great kit for modifying an existing bumper or a great base to make your own bar. Super thick steel, packaged well.

They're stubby bumper ends. They bolt on and that's about it. They're doing their job. Purely esthetic.
