I used these to replace the kitchen faucet on my RV with a regular household kitchen faucet. The original RV faucet had 1/2" NPT male ends to connect with the RV plumbing. Normal house faucets have hoses with a 3/8" connector at the end. These adapters connected perfectly with the 1/2" NPT RV plumbing leaving the 3/8" end ready for the faucet. The item comes with gaskets that I did not need to use but glad to have them just in case. After installation, no leaks!!!

We changed out the faucet in our trailer so this was needed to adapt that faucet to the trailer. Works great!
