Hose is heavy duty, good quality and the thermostat works well to keep the water warm to your RV in the very cold temps.

Works well so far. Make sure you don't have many sharp bends, or areas that could kink. Lay it out as straight as possible.

I just wanted to post a user error anecdote here to maybe help others avoid the mistake I made last night when reversing the direction of the hose. The hose came with all the required connections to hook up in either direction, and seems good/sturdy quality. Initially I had the thermostat at the RV and was using the post to plug the hose in. I wrapped the thermostat end around the inlet with some neoprene to keep the brass fitting warm. Those connections It worked great several days like that. I did notice the second morning the water ran warm and had a very chemical smell/taste. That went away after running it a bit.Reversing it meant the thermostat was at the post, and the hose got plugged in at my electric box. I again wrapped the connections, but this time forgetting that the post already had a heater line running into the ground along the service pipe. That heater threw off my thermostat reading overnight and so the RVGUARD hose froze. Very confusing since the plug stated lighted at the receptacle, indicating it was on. I pulled the white thermostat end out from the neoprene wrap and expect it to fire up and thaw out immediately.Update: It fired right up and thawed out the hose after I exposed the thermostat.

We are living out of our camper right now while our house is being built. In this last week, we have had over 15” of snow and 1” of ice. Not one time has our water froze up or slowed down. We didn’t even have to leave the water dripping. This has been the best investment ever! No leaks! The water hose is very thick and durable to withstand very cold temperatures and bad weather. It was very easy to install. I can’t emphasize how this is just amazing.

Worked great for a month. As of this morning the heat element in the hose stopped working. It's the 4th one this winter.

This hose was easy to install and laid flat on the ground, as I needed most of the 50' length. I would recommend running water through it for days before drinking, as had a distinctive plastic taste at first.

This heated hose is a hose and has a heated line that's separate from the hose that is encased inside a rubber jacketed sleeve. The othe type I've used the heated line is actually part of the hose. This version is less exspensive and does do the job although I can't attest to if it works as well in colder situations yet. The heat shrink tubing on either end is thick and so far has been durable. The ends are what looks to be stainless and foam sleeves are also included to insulate the connections. This is a plug in and it turns itself on at a temp of 47°f. Also to mention this is not a kink free hose so if you're looking for something that needs to be this is not it.

We needed a heated hose for our RV for those early spring and late fall days. Works great! No frozen water at our end 😜
