My massive melon measured 23". I originally ordered a XXL (23") Lifer. I should have known better. The chinstrap was maxed out and it didn't fit comfortably, even with swapping out for the XXXL padding.My snap back hats are always maxed on the last or second last little nub thing. I'm aware of my large head already. If you are as well, go for the Mega Lifer and get a less insulting size like the "L".Besides the sizing, it feels like quality. If you're trying "XtReMe" sports as a 30+ year old, spend the extra for the best.

I'm pretty sure that this is supposed to come with extra liners for a size up or down. Mine didn't, which is frustrating. The regular S1 Lifer helmet definitely comes with alternate liner sizes, so why not give those of us with big heads the same benefit? You can order another liner separately, but I don't want to pay $9 extra for something that should have been included!

They sent the smaller abd larger size liners with the one i purchased which was nice. Comfortable helmut. Vents well so not very sweaty. Looks good. Trust it.

This is definitely safer and more comfortable than my entry level figure 8 helmet. I bought rad sweat savers a well. I followed the directions provided and all fits exactly. I am very pleased.

It's almost impossible to find a helmet over a certain size, almost none of the other helmet makers have the larger mold so none of their helmets fit me properly. This one is great fit, very comfortable and solid construction.
