When searching for a viable UV flashlight, I wanted something high-quality and reliable. Overall, I’m pretty pleased with this flashlight. It’s bright, effective, and simple to use. The only complaint I have for this flashlight is the price tag. It’s rather expensive, but you get what you pay for. Like all UV radiation, this flashlight is pretty dangerous for the eyes. Use with caution when shining the light near any people. Otherwise, you’ll enjoy having this in your tool set.

Really good light, a little expensive being $30ish but compared to other lights, it performs the same, if not better, and actually had a longer lasting battery than the higher end UV light I was using while rock hunting, while being more compact and having the same amount of effect. Proof is in the picture attached from yooperlite hunting.

We have two cats. I bought this primarily to find cat vomit stains to be cleaned in my basement, as I had just bought a spot cleaner/extractor for this purpose.With the regular lights on, my basement carpet looks spotless. I work out in the basement and often walk barefoot and roll around the carpet in gym clothes while doing something that resembles yoga. To find stains to clean, I was using a very tiny UV flashlight (cheap $5 one, keychain sized). With that, I could see a few stains glowing brighter (not yet spot cleaned) and some faint (where we had already cleaned). Life was good; however, I had to put the old and tiny UV flashlight very close to the floor (about a foot) to be able to see the stains. That was causing me back pain and taking quite a while to inspect the entire carpet. I needed a larger light to make the process of identifying spots easier.In comes the Lumenshooter S3 365nm. At first use, it nearly gave me a heart attack. My basement carpet looked like a hippie’s dirty tie dye shirt with psychedelic glow and radioactive explosion everywhere. I was even afraid to walk barefoot where once exercised semi-naked. All stains I had spot cleaned are now glowing like deep ocean jellyfish with bioluminescence screaming “danger, dangerâ€. I now exercise in a track suit and socks.To make things worse, I had the terrible idea to inspect every bedroom and bathroom. All toilet bowls were glowing everywhere with stains, smears and spots but look spotless at normal light. I don’t want to know where the stains same from as they are invisible under normal light. Nevertheless, I invested hours of cleaning toilets and floors with vinegar and chlorine and all stains are gone from porcelain and tiles now. The carpet however is a lost case. Even after hiring a professional carpet cleaner, the stains don’t go away.Don’t buy this light if you love your pets. You will never look at them the same way!!!Also, do not think about bringing this on a trip to inspect airplane seats, tray tables, hotel bedrooms and bathrooms, etc. I know it crossed your mind. You have been warned! DO NOT DO IT!!! Go use it to find scorpions or yooperlite rocks or whatever other purpose people have for UV light.Now, for the review, the flashlight is smaller than I thought, which is a good thing. Battery and charger work well. I can see stains from very far away. 5 star product.

Very bright - especially for short wavelength. The reduced visible light makes it very usable - don't waste your money on 395nm lights. My only criticism, for which I deducted a star, is that I wish the battery could be charged inside the unit. (It comes with a separate charger.)

This light works as well as more expensive alternatives. The included battery is a quality one, and tests out as its labeled. I found some cool rocks with it, which is cool, but also found cat pee inside, which is less cool. It cooks up gel nail polish very well. It's a very good light for seeking out florescent minerals in the dark.

I have two male puppies that I am trying to house train. Every time I think they are house trained, the older dog goes over and finds a marking of urine (he's a snitch). This light has helped me find where they are marking so I can put marking preventer on it or block off parts of the house where they have been marking. It is quite good at showing pet urine on hard and soft surfaces.

All the reviews I read were saying the battery life was bad but I bet they were going out using it in the field, because it’s bangin’. It works great for around the house looking at specimens or if you wanna creep yourself out by turning off the lights and looking for spiders

I did get this for another purpose BUT I’ve been using it on my nails to cure them with the LEad gel and the time is cut in half because the strength is a lot stronger. I gave my other LED lamp to a friend and just use this when needed.

Powerful blacklight torch shows up stains and particles but is a bit hard on your eye's without the required tinted safety glasses.
