This EverBrite UV Flashlight has been great around the house. I bought the 100 LED version and have been happy with the quality for the price of $17.The build quality is great. The aluminum body feels durable, its easy to hold/use and the color scheme of the purple accents give it a nice appearance. It was heavier than I expected, but in a good way. It doesn’t feel cheap at all.It takes six AA batteries, which may feel like a lot, but the batteries are included so it’s not an extra cost pushed onto you. Since use is generally brief, the batteries have lasted and I haven’t had to change them yet. The batteries are easy to install in the removable holder.It has a detachable wrist strap and a soft rubber button to turn it off/on.It throws light pretty well and can be used for many things around the house. We had some ant problems and the poison we were using lights up really well with this light. This helps me to go back and clean up areas where I have left the bait. It also works well in the garden looking for pests on our plants, or looking for spills and stains around the house.If you use it in your bathroom, you will see exactly where your toilet or sink needs cleaning even if it’s not apparent in regular light. This light will really highlight where splatters are.It will also work well for checking things like money, or ID cardsI would probably buy the smaller size for travel purposes, but I would feel confident that it would work just as well for hotel rooms, beds, etc.

I bought it so we could see where bugs were coming into the house, but it just seems to make everything glow....so into my Halloween stuff it went.

At first I didn’t think it worked at all but I was holding a few inches above the carpet and was not dark enough. On a light carpet holding it about three feet above in a totally dark room it work well.

When arrived it was missing AAA battery holder and lanyard was quality falling apart. I was thinking about going through manufacturer but Amazon lists a paint sealant company as their contact. Too many red flags and I just did a standard return with Amazon.

Make sure you install the batteries the correct direction into the light. There is a direction arrow. LED’s will not work backwards (negative reviews below)This light did not get hot like others.Was bright enough I didn’t have to wait till total dark to look for AC leak detector dye.All good.Only had a few days so far.

Everything was great the packaging and postage but it is not bright and does not work at all for picking up urine stains or anything.
