This is a great UV light. We use it a our local cat rescue to help detect ringworm. We also use an expensive Wood's lamp and this is just as effective and easier to manage vs. a larger lamp. The only issue is that the power button is so tiny and almost flush to the end of the light that it's almost impossible to find it - especially in the dark! Otherwise, it's a good UV lamp especially for the price. I've only had mine for 2 months, so hard to know how long the battery will last before you have to toss it, but UV lights don't last for long either, so probably best to replace every couple of years depending on use.

Exposes all kinds of things you can't see with the naked eye in normal light. Still trying to learn what the different colors mean, but light works as advertised.Not thrilled about the on-off switch. Hard to find in the dark. Compact & easy to handle. Charging cord is a plus, no need to buy batteries. Definitely worth the money.

I got this to check my cat for ringworm. Good news: no sign of ringworm or anything else on the cat! Bad news: I made the mistake of using it on my floors. I can now see all the icky spots everywhere and they haunt me, but at least I know where to clean!

This Woods Lamp worked so well for detecting ringworm on 2 foster kittens. But I also noticed how much bacteria was on our bathroom sinks. It made me realize how much harder I had to clean going forward.

You can charge this thing as long as you like, but even at full charge, it will not work unless it’s hooked up to a portable battery. This is highly inconvenient as you are trying to use the light but fumbling because you have to hold the battery pack also as well as the cord connecting the two.

Produces a surprisingly powerful pure UV spot with insignificant visible light contamination. Excellent for its intended medical purpose. The spot is about 1" diameter from a distance of 4" providing plenty of diagnostic power. The spot will will also easily activate reactive objects many feet away. The physical construction is superb and well engineered. The UV pass filter is of good quality material and very effective. The anodized aluminum body is fine matte textured with a directional arrow pointing to the front. This is a very well designed tool made to last.

This is a great light for checking on the cleanliness of hotel rooms and those sometimes nasty camp jobs.Mainly used by myself to check for bedbugs when I check into camp jobs.FYI you may possibly be disgusted by what you find all over so use with caution lmao

Saw this on a list for the best uv light to seak out hiden cat pee and other stuff. Worjs really well!!!!! But saw the same model some days later and it was literaly the 1/3 of the price.Also there's already a buzzing sound after 2-3 use. Get a cheaper one for the price. It'll work as good as this one
