I needed a short extension cable to run across the hood cowling of my collector car that doesn't get driven very often - and something that wouldn't get lifted out of the cowling at highway speeds. This was the perfect length & weight and I can now connect my battery tender right at the corner of the windscreen/hood cowl very conveniently, and not have to lift the hood. It's invisible when it's not connected which is exactly what I wanted.
