Just great for my crafting. Sturdy. I’ve seen others reviews where they said the pins were not sharp I must have gotten lucky because mine are VERY sharp. Pretty colors too.

These pins arrived as expected. Well packaged. Plenty sharp for my use which was going through both tough recliner chair fabric and a heavier sleeping bag to cover a garage chair. Did not bend or break. I’d buy again.

I use these large safety pins on my two rather classic matching black leather sofa chairs. Overtime the leather started to wear down. I'm not even sure you can find this exact model anymore, certainly not for the lower price of years ago. Re-upholstering them is a bit of a financial hit, especially in these uncertain times. However, Amazon offers leather cushion seat covers, arm rest covers, and a nice partial cover for the backing. These black safety pins subtly anchor all the items so they don't slip. Black is black and for my guests, no one notices the difference. They just lapse into utmost comfort and we carry on hanging out with each other.These are large and strong and it takes a bit to push them through leather. Do it slowly so you don't puncture your fingers. Be sure to punch the sharp end out with about â…“ inch to cap it close. Then you have to apply some finger strength to clip it close. They work great.I also have a lot of large pillows on a flat Tibetan style low sofa-bed. I can see using them to seal the pillows if in the future, the zippers flay loose or break.

I got these because I added 2 X 3" memory foam toppers to my bed, and the "fitted" sheets weren't cooperating.I didn't need more than six for that job, but I am so grateful that these will be available in the future.I put some in my toolbox and the rest in a kitchen drawer. They'll come in handy again, as in most cases, regular-sized safety pins don't cut it. They also look good, which they didn't have to for my purchase. Value-added bonus!

I had a very hard time using them because they were not sharp at all. I was surprised by that because they are called, "Safety Pins." I expected them to be sharp, liked a pin! I had to push really hard to get it to go through the fabric I was using, and then it left a big hole where it punched through. If you need the pin to be sharp, these are not for you! It depends what you are using them for. As far as being well made, these are. They are heavy duty, and will not bend out of shape. You just might be wanting to say a few bad words while trying to use them!

Unfortunately it didn’t work with the dress I was trying to alter but that’s the thick sequin fabric fault rather than a reflection on the pins - I doubt any pin would have worked. They are very large and sturdy. They also look really nice and are of excellent quality. I’m sure I will find a use for them at some point. Worth the money for sure.
