Is a bit small but like that the crack that the water flows through are not too big to let the fry escape. As this was my first one, I learned I would like one that is more wide than tall.

This product got here 10 days sooner than expected, well built, does its job, however, it is quite small, will work for small fish, about Guppy size, could cause stress to larger ones.

It's tiny, but it worked for what I needed it for. Don't recommend using it as a sick bay it's to narrow for that.

works good for small bread fish which deliver babies, there are holes in the bottem so ots useless for fish who lay eggs

I know it states the dimensions, but it also was labeled as large.. I am terrified for what a small would look like. I was dealing with an issue and needed something to house my shrimp in, as my other boxes were in use. It worked for them and they were only in it for about 4 days. But I would not use this for anything else really. Even a guppy would be too large I think. Unless you caught it in the last few hours of it having fry... But I think it may stress it out, with being so tiny... :( It would be great if it was larger, I guess is my point.

The divider isn’t a snug fit and just floats up leaving the mommy fish with almost no room. In fact, if the whole things was up a little higher above the water lever it would have lifted her out of the water and killed her. I have had to weight it down with a decor piece just to keep her safe and it’s still a little crooked and floating up on one side. Other than that it seems to work so far. Mom hasn’t birthed the babies quite yet so not sure how they will fair yet.
