Excellent, as most Salifert test kits have been in my experience (I don't recall if I've tried their copper; for that I use Hanna's high range kit which works with saltwater). Accurate per multiple kit testing from a Reef2reef.com article I read where someone tested the various kits against a Triton standard, precise, and the end points are easy to determine so it feels very reliable and trustworthy (as opposed to Elos, which also works well with slightly less precision but the endpoint is harder to determine with my eyes). Fairly simple, with only 1 extra step from the Elos. I also only use Salifert for alkalinity and magnesium as well.

I used this to try and determine the calcium levels in my tap water so I can use that for plants. I need to know the levels to adjust my nutrient levels accordingly.Test was easy to use and is accurate. I tested my tap water and compared it against my tote of rain water that has 100ppm of calcium nitrate added to it. The readings on my treated water were exactly what I expected to see.I had just received iron test strips from another company and those didn't work at all. So I was worried, but this test works perfectly. 5 stars.

The consistent results and simplicity is why I buy tons of it. I have used other digital monitors and “high end†test kits and none compare to the quality of this product. I’ll take this over the digital and even more expensive products. Great quality.

As always Salifert test kits are easy to use, accurate, and easy to read the results. I deducted 1 star because the box was a little beat up which isn’t a big deal, but the test vile was cracked all the way through from top to bottom. I was able to fix it using a bead thin superglue. It seemed far less a hassle to fix it then request a return for an exchange. However I prefer things I purchase new to not need repairs.

Everyone I know in the reefing hobby recommended this. Even my LFS that sells more expensive tests recommended this. Simple and straight forward. I recently did an API test that I repeated several times which stated I had over 1500!! Went with this and I was within 450 range. Had my LFS test just to ensure and they were within 20 -/+
