We bought two but returned one because we decided we only needed one. So two good reviews: it looks great, fit our door right (and it was hard to find the right size!), and they were super fast to issue the refund. Minor point, but worth mentioning, it came packaged in three layers of boxes like one of those Russian dolls. A bit of overkill, and probably not the most environmentally friendly thing. But they were great to deal with.

I returned it because it wouldn’t fit the opening I had. It was made very well and looked very impressive. It is not a cheap piece of metal. It is pretty heavy. I really wished it would have fit as it would have really dressed up the front of the house

Replaced my front door that had a mail flap in it with a solid door. Cut out a new mail slot in the wall at the side of the door, added a liner, and then attached the Mail Slot cover to it. Looks great, works perfectly.

It's a fairly heavyweight polished brass device. The plating is shiny and looks good. The casting is somewhat wavy and has sharp edges. The spring is too tight. Its hard to swing open one handed, and can snap on your finger. (Mailman's complaint). There is no mounting templet and there should be. If your not good at measurements and fairly precise cutting, you may be in trouble. It's pricey and challenging to install. Be aware

It looks perfect except the holes for the screws are in a different spot then the one I am replacing, and we have a steel door. I am waiting for a Handy man to install it and he feels he will have no problem. However the size and finish are fine.

This door mail slot quality is bad. I tried two orders from different places and both come in bad quality.1. Cover cannot close tight, it leaves a big gap.2. Base plate is not flat against the door surface.Don’t understand where those good reviews came from.It’s use less.

The front plate looks nice. However, from the backside of the hole (in the house) you look into the door guts (whether wood or foam). Very unfinished look. We needed to make up a metal sleeve to cover the internal part of the door and it cost as much as the mail slot.

The box come only with the outside cover. The brass coating is thin and it unfortunately the same quality as the one we had bought previously from another brand and which lasted only 2 years.
