These are great, in that they can hold quite a bit of salt or pepper, and yet still not be overly large.That perfect in-between of being just-enough!Simple to use; simple to unscrew, open up and fill then reseal. Worked great as a gift I received with dehydrated garlic, so I bought a couple for small chili flakes.Threading could be better - added a tiny drop of CLP and it improved a tad. Opertion is simple and very convenient. Uncertain how the metall would hold up to salt. I recommend.

I purchased these thumb grinders because they look nice and modern and thought they would add a special touch to airbnb rental units. But they began rusting after just 2 months. The area is not humid, and there was no water contact. In fact, one set was stored in its original box in a storage room and not used, and those grinders also began rusting within 2 months.

The shroud that goes on the salt shaker came loose. So when you push the plunger the shroud comes off. I super glued it. And it seems to be holding up. Other than that I love these little salt and pepper grinders.

I was given one of these as a gift several years ago. Dropped it a while back and it broke. I was glad to find a replacement. I think they look kind of cool. Easy to use and they work. Small enough to actually put on the table.

I really wanted to like these two small mills. very cute but they dont work well for actually grinding pepper and salt. Hard to press down on and so I would not be able to use them very often..
