I bought these for nostalgia. The pictures reminded me of a salt & pepper set my family enjoyed in the 1960s. And they didn't disappoint. They do seem to be smaller than the set I recall. But, that could be because everything seems larger in your youth. I would recommend these.

The reviews are right. The quality of the lids are subpar. Lids are dented. I'll keep them but felt other consumers should be aware
