The shakers are perfect for my needs. Whether you use sea salt larger grind or restaurant style pepper, these adjust from fine to large grind. I appreciate the design of the lid and compact but sturdy shape of the glass containers. Each lid has a ring - white or black- to indicate salt or black pepper. Great value for the price.

I found ants in my past salt shaker and purchased these so it would not happen again. The closure keeps ants out, it is a nice size, the glass seems thick and they look nice. I would buy again.

First -- as other reviews note, these are quite small. I like the appearance, though, and they'll do for my limited use. Second, the tops just swivel around without any stops or detents, so they won't stay where you set them. That's bad design; at least the full-closed position should have a stop, or the rotating action should be stiffer so that whatever setting you choose would stay there.

The holes are adjustable. The holes are adjustable and can even totally close. Holds a lot of product. Worth the price which isn’t that money.
