Direction (orientation) matters. Ensure when looking at spreader from rear, tab is on the left side! Place near heater for 30 min and it will be be soft and pliable. You can’t install on your spreader if it’s cold. Warm it up first. Do not pull that tab it will rip. If warm enough use the black part to pull over evenly and gently. Again, ensure tab is on left (drivers) side.

This cover works well. Just remember to soak the cover in a bucket of hot water to make installing easy.
