I own Shimano casters reels. I’ve owned penn reels and none of them come close to this one. I’ve spent $350 on my Shimano one don’t even use it anymore because this one is way better it cast super smooth the drag on it is amazing. I’ve used it in saltwater and freshwater and haven’t lost a fish on it and I’ve had it for a couple months

Came across this reel and read the reviews. Surprised to see such positive reviews on a sub $40 reel. Overall finish is nice with the exception of a couple of minor blemishes which do not effect performance. I spooled some 15lb braid. Bearings are smooth drag is solid. Will update once I use it.

Great product. Great price. Even though this product is a Chinese knock off it’s very good. A lot of Americans like buying only American and I understand that but this reel is very good and for the price you can’t beat it. I’m actually buying another one.

I use quite a few expensive Stella, Twinpower, sustain and stradic reels. This cheapo reel is not as refined, polished or smooth as an expensive reel but way better than a Walmart plastic package reel you would get for this price!

Great reel especially for the price! For reference this is their 3000 model next to my 5000 shimano Stradic. One combo was $400 and the other was $60 and the Im amazed by how much I equally like them. Feels sturdy and very smooth, no complaints with the drag and seals look good. Only time will tell to see if it could truly compete.
