Instructions are not so great. the words used make no sense. i purchased two of these for my seadoo speedster one of them is inoperable

It’s more of an hour meter than a tach all it does is hop from 0 -50 and that’s about it. It started doing that after about an hour of run time on the engine. I have this on a V6 4.3L Chevy pump engine. Back light works good at night. This really is not worth the money.
