Less expensive alternative to exercise equipment We filled with sand and for workouts, not sure how long they will last for this use but meets my needs.

Very well made, much better for my use than the bulky bags. I have some miner flooding in the basement if we have rains for a long time, I just needed something that I could simply leave in place but not be so bulky as to get in the way. Nice to have the reflection tape, since I leave them on site all the time.

These bags are great for small level flooding. They aren't tall enough for severe flooding, but then again not much would be. These are easy to fill. I don't think you'd want them much bigger as it would be harder to carry and place them when full. In California it hardly ever rains but when it does, it rains in an extreme way, so areas that you don't expect to flood can suddenly be problematic. It's nice to have these as backup to protect the backside of my garage that doesn't have the best grading.

I got these to help shore up a leaking retaining wall, and so far they're working well. They're a bit tricky to fill, and the closures are clearly not designed with the idea of holding in sand, but I just under-filled them a bit so I could get a good wrap around the neck. Under-filled, they hold a little less than 50 lbs of sand. They also have a reflective stripe on them, so I might swap them out from the wall and use them in my truck for bad weather.

I live in Florida, which is hurricane capital of the US, so trust me on this review. These are the best sandbags ever. Most of the bags sold here are extremely small, usually like the size of a baby's diaper bag and you need like 20-30 to fortify your home. These bags are extremely large, extremely durable. You only need maybe 6 to keep water out of your entire house.

I am reviewing: Sand Bags for Flooding - 4 Pcs 4 ft x 8 inch Thickened Long Canvas Flood Protection Sandbags Tube with Elastic Band, Reusable Flood Rain Wind Barriers Sand Bag for Indoor and Outdoor GarageThe fabric is thick and durable. The tube is not turned inside out, which I assume is to make the inside the cleaner surface so sand doesn't get hung up. It is double stitched for strength. The drawstring could be a little stronger but I won't dock for it.

These are definitely different than your typical style sand bags. For one thing, the material is tighter than the old style bags. They should be more watertight. I like the longer length. Also, they have a reflective stripe sewn into them to make them more visible. The opening to put the sand in is a little smaller than the old style, but I've got a slim blade shovel that will work perfectly for this.Overall, I'm happy with these sand bags and would definitely recommend them.My rating method:1 star - terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it.2 stars - marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk.3 stars - average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it.4 stars - better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it.5 stars - exceptional - far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.
