As we were building our new pool we wanted to add something special to the floor, steps or tanning ledge. I instantly thought sand-dollar. The product comes in great packaging to avoid breakage during shipment. What I would recommend when ordering a pool mosiac. 1. Make sure it is something you want to look at for 7-10 years. Pools will usually need to be replastered in 10 years, so once the mosiac is put in the plaster it is in there. 2. Make sure it is returnable incase you are not happy with it. 3. Put the mosiac in your bath tub underwater to see the way it looks under water. 4. If ordering a mosiac with text, make sure you like the font and remember someone will have to lay it in the plaster, so getting it straight is VERY important. Although we loved the idea of the sand dollar this one did not resemble a true sand dollar to me. We did however keep the mosiac and currently use it as a coaster on the patio furniture.

The product appears to be just an image put on the surface. Returned all of them. Will purchase directly from a pool mosaic company instead.Great service and delivery time though!!

I wish it was ceramic, but it's screen printed. If I knew it would last 20 years, fine. But no idea. It's not the fault of the manufacturer/seller, it does say screen printed, I just missed it. Very pretty, otherwise.
