Great product! I spent well over 2x the value of this just for a scooper head by ckg a few years back. Never had an issue with my ckg, but this is exactly what I wanted for flights and travel break downs.Fits on my XP 280 backpack, or in my luggage. I can even store this permanently in my truck for such a cheap expense.Thread ports are solid, I was a bolt inspector for awhile. No loosey goosy play in the pole while assembled!I can tell I can pull 15 lbs of clay already up without any hesitation of this breaking in winter on me while detecting.I almost want to buy a second that's how happy I am just to keep it in the truck.

Great Sand Scoop. With all the negative reviews on other import scoops, I took a chance on this one. It is not a large scoop but did awesome job at Beach. Used it for full week at Hilton Head and it Did not quit. I like the way it threads together and welds held up in both wet and dry sand. Handle was comfortable to use and disassembled easily. I picked up a small bag to store it in so it will be ready for my next trip. Nice Solid travel digger.

The handle is a must. Otherwise you have to bend over all the time. At least I did …. It works well, it picks most things, does well in the ocean. Weight is great, I’m short, old and don’t have huge problem holding it !!

Exactly what we needed for metal detecting at the beach, helped us find lots of coins & a few rings!Not to heavy but solid construction, unscrews into 4parts & can fit in a backpack & can be used comfortably with or without the long handle since it has a smaller padded one on the scoop which was nice for my 4yr old when he wanted to do the digging.

I returned this, so obviously never used it. I’d just bought it by mistake - I had a large order in my cart and didn’t realize this was still in there.It seemed well made and sturdy - fairly heavy, if that’d be a factor in your purchase.

Got this in packed it in a bag rolled out to the beach! Went crab hunting with my kids took the metal detector went to put the shovel together and the house didn't line up for the handle to the scoop. While not a tragedy an obstacle cause I forgot to take a drill and bits to fix just a problem!
