Gave birth on Jan 27th 2025 and it helped! Unfortunately I had a pretty horrible birth experience but the good news is I squeezed the ever living hell out of this comb and it definitely was sturdy. Worth the money as I do think it saved me some pain.

I ended up not using til the time to push and it definitely helped since I didn't want any medication. Must have for your hospital bag! Keep it close if you are on the way to the hospital because I didn't get a hold of mine til my contractions were really painful.

This comb has a very nice and is curbed to fit the palm in a pretty specific way. I am a birth doula and picked up this and another comb for mother’s who want to try using this gate-method of pain reduction. It has nice writing on it and a wrist strap so it’s not easily dropped or lost. I expect to give as a gift (for remembrance or combing baby’s hair) after each use and replace as needed.

When I tell you I couldn’t believe how much I lasted without the epidural just by using this comb! Is not magic but it does take your mind away from the pain for a bit . I highly recommend

It saved my life during active labor. I can only highly recommend it if you’re planing an unmedicated birth! It doesn’t break, is very sturdy and really took the pain away for me!

This was my most important item in my birth bag! I had a water birth at a birthing center and this definitely helped me while going through contractions and during active labor when pushing out my baby! It’s a must!

I had back pain during labour and this savedddd me.Perfect size to keep in hand and just the right amount of pressure to take away from some of the labour pains. I even had an epidural and this was a must have item for me.

I would not haven gotten through my contractions as easily as I did without this. A lot of people told me to just use a regular comb but with the way I was squeezing this thing a regular comb would have punctured my skin. 10/10 recommendI ended up labouring at home until 7cm with the help of this comb, sound crazy but it’s true!

I was skeptical about how a little comb could help with labour pains but this was a must have throughout labour. Highly recommend to anyone seeking a natural childbirth. We wrote babies name and birthdate on the comb afterwards as a keepsake.
