This drum is for a 1/2" shaft sander, the hole in the drum is almost .030" oversize therefore it won't center on the spindle and will always run out of balance and out of true. Basically it's useless and I failed to try it until after thirty days and now it is non-returnable. Don't waste your money on these.

I bought this item to be added to a Triton Oscillating Spindle Sander. It worked perfectly. I had to make a plate (wooden plate) for it since the provided plate can only take about 2 inch drums (orange plastic plate). Obviously, the 3 inch drum provides more possibilities for sanding.
