The sleeves work great to protect my arms when bathing dogs. I would imagine they would work good for gardening as well. They fit my arms without being too tight or loose.

Didn't see a place to order a specific size.They sent mediums,and could a used a large.Material is fine.Not too heavy,but seems durable.The Grey ones wear mich looser,and feel better than the black ones.They are tight,and after a few washings the "elastic" threading is breaking down in the black ones,and popping through.At first I thought it was lint.But it isn't. I don't wear the black ones anymore.Too tight,and they look so bad now ,because of the threading or elastic coming out all over.Will try to order another pair of just the greys.

The black arm protectors are perfect: they fit my arms snugly, don't fall down around my wrists. But the light-colored sleeve protectors are much too big. They fit very loosely and constantly fell down around my wrists. I'm not happy with them at all! I would like to trade them for a second pair of the black ones.

I bought these because my puppy would scratch and bite my fragile arms while playing causing them to bleed. The fabric was thick and did the trick.

I work with dogs at a local animal rescue/shelter and often get scratches on my old, thin skinned arms. I ordered these in hopes that they would prevent those injuries. I am very pleased with the quality and the functionality of these arm guards. They seem to do a really good job of protecting my skin. The only downside is, they are quite heavy, and they hit at a funny part of my arm in the crook of my elbow, but can easily be moved a little up or down. I’m also very happy to report that they don’t slide down and they are very secure. The biggest downside is because I live in the desert southwest our summers will be unbearable to wear these.Generally, I highly recommend them
