For an inexpensive strap, this works quite well, is comfortable, and keeps the horn very secure on the hook, without resorting to those (IMHO) leash-looking clasps.Only time will tell how well the material and stitching of the neck area holds up, but even if it's not forever, it will likely be long enough to get a good amount of use out of it.I'm not sure how this would be if you had to be holding your tenor for a three or four-hour gig, but since I'm constantly switching up saxes, with a good bit of flute playing, that's not a factor for me. But this is definitely as comfortable as some other, more expensive straps I have.

This had helped my son use his saxophone with ease. As a new player he is trying to learn the keys. Having this strap takes his mind off the weight of the instrument so he can focus on his music. It's a nice quality for the money. It's not to bulky and I like the plastic coated metal clip so I don't have to worry about him dropping it.

The padding that fits on back of neck is fairly/pretty adequate, and strap should be long enough for almost anyone.That said: The strap is twisted 1/2 turn such that it must be worked up into the padding channel or it will inhibit/prevent the length adjusting pieces from going up as high as may be required. Working the twist on the strap up into the padding channel is rather/QUITE difficult to do, so be forewarned.Also, the clip does NOT swivel, which makes it somewhat/marginally tedious to fasten on/to the sax, and which may require that the strap be removed and rotated accordingly/appropriately.

The product is very easy and convenient to use , light weight and small enough to fit in the Sax Case. Quality of material used is excellent. I waited long time to order a strap and finally found the best with a long lasting metal clip.
