I wanted to paint my walls but didn’t have the patience to do that so I painted the frames instead. This was such a fun and easy process. Just used masking tape to hold it in place. Such a fun and simple design that really transforms the energy of the room.

While the idea is great the material and flimsy of this takes away the ability to paint easily. Comes rolled up and getting to lay flat was impossible. Did not work as needed.

I’m so happy I bought this stencil! The scallops in my daughter’s nursery’s turned out so well. I took off one star because even after laying it out for several days with heavy items on top of it, it was still a little flimsy and would not lay perfectly flat. It took some patience getting started. I taped it to the wall and used a pencil and a level to trace the scallops, then hand painted them once it was all traced out. Tracing two walls took me about 1.5 hrs. Ultimately it turned out great and the price of this product and the prime delivery beat all of the Etsy ones!

The stencil comes rolled in a tiny tube and is a little flimsy and hard to unroll. I ironed mine on low under a piece of parchment paper before using it and that made the stencil significantly easier to work with. Otherwise a decent value for the money.

Used this stencil for an accent nursery wall and it was perfect! Some reviews said it was flimsy or didn’t stay flat, but that’s to be expected since it’s plastic and it comes rolled up. I used painters tape to hold it in place on the wall, used a pencil to trace each section and then remove the stencil to paint it. I don’t know that I’d recommend painting with the stencil still on the wall or whatever surface you’re working with. Probably won’t get clean lines that way, but I used a thin paint brush first to outline the scallops and then went in with a regular (larger) paint brush. Came out great def would recommend

It's a great size but I wasn't able to use it. It comes rolled and even after trying to flatten it for days beforehand I couldn't get it uncurled. Had to return.

the product arrives in a tube and its very hard to get flat to the wall. we taped it to the wall as much as we could applied our paint and let iit dry before we moved to the next section. Whilst we considerd our walls to be relatively flat i think you need perfectly flat walls for this to work ours leaked like mad. this could perhaps be used to line a wall in pencil and then hand paint? For us we plan to simply paint over it and buy some wall decals instead.

I traced it with pencil and then used a small brush to paint the scallops. It’s a little flimsy so it’s easiest with a second person to hold the stencil while you trace.Much cheaper than the ones on Etsy!

It did come rolled up tight and it took two people to hold and draw the stencil on the wall, but I’m really happy with the outcome! We marked out a level line then one person held open the stencil while the other traced, we used the last drawn scallop to place the stencil until we were done. We then hand painted in the scallops with a smaller paint brush while quickly following behind with a roller to keep it looking even, it took two coats and a bit of patience!

The scallop stencil has a lovely design, but the flimsy material made it too difficult to use directly on the wall. To make it work, I spray-glued the stencil onto a piece of wood, cut it out, and used that to trace the pattern. It took some extra effort, but the result was worth it. If you’re up for a DIY challenge, the final look is beautiful!
