White paper, measuring 24 x 16 inches, is spiral bound to stiff front and back covers for ultimate protection. The paper is lined with 1-1/2 inch ruling on both sides and includes a skip space that offers room for descenders and longer cursive letters. The top of the pad is 2-hole punched to allow for easy hanging on the wall or bulletin board. The landscape (long) format is great for all ages and serves as an aid to practice penmanship or equal spacing of words and letters when writing. The pad includes 25 sheets of writing paper. Chartboard paper is expensive and has been for the forty years I used it prior to retirement. I guess that's just the way it is with large sheets.I read a lot prior to placing this order at Amazon, hoping I could find something for a lower price but because there were a lot of comments about the condition the paper was in upon arrival, I bit the bullet on School Smart. What the heck, teachers aren't going to tolerate a lack of effort (by the supplier), right?My two packs arrived 100% flat. Both had a thicker cardboard or whatever on the back side of the tablet and that may have done the trick. I will absolutely re-order from this company.

As a teacher, every page counts. I noticed that the tablet looked a bit thin, and decided to count the pages to make sure that there were exactly 25 pages. I counted 22 pages twice thinking I miscounted the first time. There are also a few pages with faded lines. These pages are very thin and guaranteed to bleed through if you’re using the Mr. Sketch markers.

I'm using these to reinforce skills my 8 yo grandson has learned. The paper thickness is average. Their ideal for making teaching examples when you're homeschooling.
