This helmet is easy to adjust to properly fit my child’s head. It stays level on my child’s head and is easy for him to take on and off independently. This weekend it proved its worth, protecting my child’s head when he was thrown out of a bike trailer during a neighborhood ride, landing on his head and shoulder without injury. We’re definitely replacing it with another one. Thank you Schwinn for designing a great child’s helmet!

I had bought a different helmet on Amazon at the beginning of this summer for my big headed daughter to wear while bicycling and scootering. Well it was WAY too big and not adjustable at all. Previously we had really expensive but adjustable helmets from the local bike store and I didn't really want to pay $50 again for another helmet. I searched and was fairly sure from the reviews that this helmet was what I was looking for- and it was! The pads inside are comfortable, the rim in front provides a bit of shade, but most of all for me there is the dial adjuster in the back which allows for a really secure fit on my daughters head. It seems like it will fit for a few years too which makes me even happier! She loves the pattern and I might end up buying another one for her twin sister (who has a much smaller head!)I definitely recommend this helmet. My daughter is 5 but has a big head. Her twin sister could fit in this one as well but it's a bit big.

My daughter loves the design of the helmet, and it seems to fit her well. My one complaint is that the adjustable teeth on the inside of the back portion snag in her hair every time she tries to take it off. I have to help her untangle her hair from the adjustable portion often.

Easy to adjust size and could fit my 3 or 5 year old even though it is for my 5 year old. He’ll have it for several years before he grows out of it I would imagine

I let my kids pick out their bike helmets when they started riding w/out training wheels on a weekend I was out of town.My 5 year old chose this helmet because the fire makes him ride faster! I'm glad he thinks so.The helmet arrived on time and fits him well.There's adjustments so he can grow into it a bit and he's able to snap/unsnap the chin strap on his own.It's a nice helmet that should last him a few years.

Our 6.5 yo grandson needed a new helmet. So he sat on my lap & we looked at Amazon to see what they had. He was telling me he hoped they had one w/flames on it. Well when he saw it he was done looking. Fortunately it was available in his size. We ordered it Mon or Tues & said we would have it Thursday. He was so excited bc that was only 2 days away. It did come Thurs but he wasn't here. I didn't open as it was his & I saved it for him to open. His older sisters brought him up this evening & when I showed him the box he got all excited. When he put it on it was to tight & boy was he ever disappointed. I looked at it & it has a loosening/tightening wheel in the back. Once I gave it a couple turns it was perfect & out the door he went to get his bike & take off. We live on a farm & much of the area is either concrete or blacktop so he has plenty of space to ride. He loves his the black w/flaming streaks. He had to ask each one of us "did we like his new helmet?" It is a nice, snug fit.

Ordered this for my grandsons birthday! Great price ( in the sale) Dispatched next day and arrived 4 days earlier than date given. Very efficient and exactly as described! My grandson will be thrilled with it!
