Works great for clean up after welding. Made cleaning the inside of tanks easy.

Pros: very effective product. Does it's job better than anything I've ever used.I used to through a gallon of anti spatter monthly and since buying this tool, I don't really even need to use it. This gets literally all of the spatter off quite easily, even the smallest of Be-bees that were nearly impossible to remove before.Cons:I'm only giving 3 stars for a few reasons:1.) The grip it ships with is actual garbage. It's made out of some sort of super cheap vinyl that reminds me of a bicycle grip from an old Schwinn bicycle from the 70's. Mine also has already started slipping down the handle after only a few days of use.2.) And this is pretty bad, the end that you can strike with a hammer is coated in a thick galvanizing that actually chips off and splinters (badly) when you actually hit it with a hammer. This in turn leaves pretty awful splinters in your hand if you don't wear a glove when using the tool. They need to get that fixed. If the striking end is designed to mushroom or deform then it should not be plated in anything.3.) This is maybe more of a preference but I would like to see this with one end of the blade rounded off. With both edges being completely 90 degrees, the blade likes to get stuck on the ripples of the weld bead at the toes of the weld. One side for sure would be nice for getting hard stuck spatter in corners but I don't think it should be on both sides.4.) Price. I don't mind paying top dollar for a quality tool, but for 60 plus dollars, there should be a good comfortable grip and the problem with the striking head should not exist. Replacement blades being over 20 dollars is also pretty expensive but hey, it does work. VERY well.If these issues were fixed, like shipping with a decent silicone handle like someone else has mentioned then I would give this 5 stars.Would I buy it again, not entirely sure. If it had the fixes I mention above, you betcha. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

bought the 3inch set up. tough tool, great for mild and heavy steel. most hand tools are sold with better grips than these. swapped mine out for a silicone(heat resistant) bicycle grip(ESI). now it's comfy and easy to locate.

Definitely worth the money. I thought it was stupid at first but it saves so much time taking spatter or dross off Fast and quick!
