Fun product. My junior-high children's-lit class had a ball handing these out to the kindergarteners so they could illustrate the Shel Silverstein poem "The Fourth" during story hour.

At the risk of sounding like a crazy person, I ordered these because the wooden scratchers tend to make that "nails on a chalk board" sound and the description said these were plastic. They are NOT plastic. So if anyone else's kids like to use these, but you are most likely mentally ill and HATE the sound that the wooden scratchers make, don't buy these because they say plastic.ALSO, I know this review is ridiculous. LOL
