Pretty much just standard drywall screws. Definitely handy to have around the house as I have found many uses for them.

These are as good, if not better, than what ya get at the big box stores. If you're like us and live a good distance from those stores, these are great! I detest going into town and supporting corporate america so I'm happy that these came to me and I'm not supporting those big box stores. They work great. We haven't had a single one strip out on us or break. Drywall screws get used a lot around the ranch and these are a great addition. They came in a small plastic storage bowl. The bowl is very thin and flimsy but surprisingly it did not crack or break during shipping. We did move them to a more durable container though. There's nothing negative about these screws that we have experienced. These are only 1 inch screws so they're not for going through thick stuff. They do offer longer ones if needed though. Just know what your project/s call for and order accordingly.I would absolutely recommend these! 💯

These are listed as both drywall and wood screws, but my intention was to use them for wood screws. These are very sharp, which makes starting them in wood a painless process. The thread is aggressive (course) so the screws start and insert very quickly. I found is was quite easy to over-torque these and drive the heads down into soft wood.A #2 Phillips screw bit fits securely into the heads of these screws, and I never had an issue with a head stripping (due to the screw being too soft) or the bit trying to walk out of the head (due to poor fit). For use as a wood screw, these did the job well and coming in at approximately $0.03 each is a good value. As a drywall screw, the price point is too high to be feasible. Purchasing these in bulk by weight at your local hardware store is likely to be a better value.

who knew the secret to driving screws smoothly into hard wood without pre-drilling was a black phosphate coating? Usually I would not attempt driving a stainless screw into a hard wood with pilot holes as they tend to snap off with any sort of torque. They also look nice for when you prefer a black screw to a stainless look. I have not snapped on off yet and they go pretty smoothly in. The only complaint that I have is that the tub that they came in is really thin and it cracked in three different spots in the shipping packaging. Other than that, for the right price I would do this again.
