I've been using this set up for 17 years, but my old one started to rip. I didn't think I'd be able to find the same thing after all this time, so I was thrilled to find this. It's a winner. My dive buddy has tried several of the "New" types for holding gear, like cameras, to your buoyancy compensator, but none of them have been as reliable as this one.

I got this to hold various bits of equipment in a way that gave me easy access but was still secure. I can detach from my weight vest and reattach with my diving gloves on so that's grate. I haven't tested in the water yet so I'll give an update after a few weeks.

Fastex female ends are 1-1/8†and this product is 1-1/4â€. Nylon webbing is thinner than other manufacturers of SCUBA clips like Trident which is fine as others are a bit overkill for normal items (flashlights, reef sticks, reef anchors, SPG) I bought stainless key rings to replace snap clip and rope lead for more secure attachment to D-ring and less lead length on the rope side. Bummed they won’t work with my existing double female Fastex clips.

Works great. I attached the lanyard to the end of my gauge/computer console and the clip end attaches to a D-ring on my BC a the upper right side of my chest. It keeps the console from dangling beside me - it's right where I can easily find it. Pull it out a little with my left hand, dive light in my right hand if needed, and I can easily read the console without un-clipping it.

I purchased this nifty little connector for my recent scuba trip, and it worked exactly as I needed to secure my dive computer to my BC. I will probably add a second for a camera or light. Or both.
