The Sea Dragon 2000F light features a COB LED array that offers a very favorable color temperature and color rendering for today's sophisticated digital cameras that by design, require plenty of natural light in order to produce colorful still and video images. The Sea Dragon 2000F closely simulates natural sunlight.
The Sea Dragon 2000 has an impressive CRI of 80 with a color temperature of 5000K making it ideal for underwater imaging use with all cameras, from SeaLife's range of underwater cameras, to action cam’s up to more sophisticated mirrorless or DSLR cameras.
The Sea Dragon 2000F (The "F" stands for Flood beam) features a 120 deg. topside beam angle, 90 deg. underwater and features three power levels at 100%, 50% and 25% of the 2000 lumen output. The wide beam angle is ideal to pair with compact action cameras, as it ensures the entire area being recorded is flooded with light. Like all SeaLife Sea Dragon lights, the performance and lumen performance is true and tested.
The Sea Dragon 2000F is easy to expand with SeaLife's Flex-Connect system of trays, grips, arms and adapters. The 2000 can be connected to any underwater camera system using standard 1/4-20 tripod or GoPro camera mounts. Flex-Connect ball joint, YS and cold shoe mounts are available making the 2000 compatible with virtually any underwater camera system.

Purchased "used, like new" and you'd never guess it wasn't completely brand new; all packaging and informational material included as if it were direct from the factory. I mistakenly didn't remove the little piece of plastic that protected the battery contacts, so thought the light wasn't working because it wouldn't turn on. I called the vendor, who was friendly and helpful, and very kindly didn't laugh at all when we realized my user error (silly me!). In fact, now that I think about it, that little piece of plastic still being on the battery means this light really hadn't been used, so I'm even happier now with my bargain purchase. The light is perfect, easy to use, and the vendor is great. Would definitely buy from them again!

Third dive with it and the tray detached from the handle upon a careful water entry. Now we have a light with a handle but no GoPro (murky and deep water prevented a rescue operation). The retainer ring is on the light housing so there’s nothing to keep your GoPro attached to you. This is a design flaw. If you get this light make SURE you run an extra strap from the GoPro itself to the light so when (not if) it detaches on its own you don’t have to buy a new GoPro like us. Contacted SeaLife customer service and they were extremely helpful and sending us a new tray at no cost,

When it works, this setup is great for a beginning underwater videographer. I attached a Sony ActionCam to it, and the combo provides great video. The light is bright and stays even over time.The setup would benefit from moving the light a bit further from the camera, as there is still a bit of a snowflake effect going on.The reason for the 3 stars is that the light is temperamental. On some dives it seems the temperature sensor gets triggered, dimming the light to barely usable. On others the light refuses to turn on after a switch to fresh batteries, yet after a period of "airing out" works happy as a clam.Strangely the manual talks about having to clean the gold plated battery contacts during every battery change, yet the whole point of gold plating is to provide a chemically inert surface for the contacts.I've moved away from using this light as a result of this.

The light is great, bright and nice full pattern. But the arm and tray are… flimsy, there is a lot of play. I initially thought it was a product defect but after testing another I saw it was the same. Ended up adding an O-ring where the different components attach to one another to avoid the play. Now it’s perfect
