Purchased this fitting to replace one that was installed two seasons ago. The barb on the original one split and began to leak. I certainly hope this one is more robust, but only time will tell. The vendor was fine, and the part received was in new condition and delivered in a timely fashion.

This product simply can't be beat for ease of installation when connecting a seaflo pump to a seaflo accumlator. Just a few simple twist and you are on your way. I did use a little blue monster PTFE tape just to be safe and there have been no leaks to date and I am very satisfied.
