I recently added an external transmission magnetic filter to my Traverse. The filter has hose fittings at each end, so I had to cut the metal fluid return line to install the filter and I needed Compression to Hose adapter fittings. These fittings worked perfectly with no leaks at all. Additionally, the external transmission filter will be very easy to replace.

Connecting a flex hose to tubing is iffy at best. Using this barbed fitting grips the tub tightly without leaking, the barbs grip the flex hose when using the correct size clamps preventing the hose from slipping off. This connection should never be used for high pressure.
