I used 10/2 cable and 12v transformers to install under cabinet lights in the kitchen. I put the transformers above the cabinets and ran the low voltage 10/2 down the back of the cabinet, between the cabinet and the wall, and finally under the cabinet. Secured the cable with low voltage staples and then pushed the sea gull lamp holders right into the cable. They have sharp contacts the pierce the plastic sheathing of the wire and make the connection, similar to outdoor low voltage lights. Overall I like the setup. It's completely hidden and the light is soft and classy, unlike the LEDs I've tried. It is a bit hard to push them into the wire to make the connection, but once they are in they seem to stay.
