My husband and I made a three-day D-Day tour of the Normandy Beaches and I was eager to keep sand and water out of my only pair of walking shoes. I had originally searched for waterproof walking boots but as my feet. Are extremely narrow, I found none in my size (8.5).Then I found these covers, and they were perfect. They fold (and refold) easily into a small carrying pouch that I attached to my fanny pack (the pouch’s attached clip is too stiff to work properly. Use a carabiner). Whenever we left a bus or a museum to walk on the beach it took me about 30 seconds to take out my boot covers, pull them on and zip them up. The zippers make it really easy to get them over your shoes. I didn’t get a grain of sand in my walking shoes. I also walked in shallow water and my shoes didn’t get wet. When we left the beach I took them off, shook them off and put them back in the pouch. Although I initially worried that they would look stupid, other people on the tour admired them and wanted to know where I found them.The soles were much thicker and more rugged than I expected, making it easy to walk on rocky ground. Given my very narrow feet, they did not fit tightly and I would not recommend using them for climbing or any other situation that requires nuanced control. But they are an excellent and practical solution for anyone who simply wants to protect their shoes from the elements in ordinary walking situations.

This is the second time I buy Seal shoe covers. The first time I bought them as a gift for a family member living in Florida. The sudden downpours and the constant flooding on parking lots were a pain and these shoe covers solved the problem of walking to work through those pools of water. Not only do they work like a charm, but they are durable. It's been several years worth of use and they still look like new, the zipper has never gotten stock or needed a repair. It is large and of excellent quality. The quality of the fabric is also top notch. 100% waterproof, and the sole is not slippery at all. I know they last the test of time, are impeccably made, very useful to keep in the car. I'm a size 6.5 and got a Small. 100% recommended

Really like these overshoes, waterproof, quick to slip on and off, like the zipper in the back, gives plenty of room to slip them on. Makes walking the dogs so easy at night through mist-covered grass, keep shoes dry in rain.

Durability is zero. I wore these fishing ONCE (yesterday) for half a day over my shoes so that lake water and fish slime wouldn't get in my tennis shoes. I was washing the mud off the covers just now and noticed that they're already starting to rip in the back by the sole. How are these covers supposed to protect my shoes from even just walking from my car to my work in the rain if they're popping stitches after one use? They're cute, but don't be fooled. They're useless. Just go buy real rubber boots and take an extra pair of shoes with you to change when you need to.

Those overshoes hold rain pretty nice, though I would not go in them into deep puddles or streams. Because the package says "water-repellent", not "water-proof", and the construction doesn't seem waterproof. By the way, the title of the product here lies about waterproofness.But this is not what is important, they are just badly designed. The size L is nice for my 9.5 footwear, just half an inch of additional space. But still those overshoes are flapping around my feet like plastic bags, especially in the heel area, where I have like several inches of emptiness between by actual heel and this thing heel with each step, and this rubber back patch folds inside this emptiness creating total mess. And in general I just cannot walk properly. Maybe they are made with a high heels in mind? But what about usual shoes?I would return if I haven't already tested them outdoors (and found unusable). There should be some straps to adjust fitting to your footwear if it is not some crazy bulky specimen.

We are going on an Alaskan cruise in July 2023. I do not want to lug heavy, waterproof boots that waste space in the suitcase. I just tried my new SEAL waterproof shoes covers over my largest pair of shoes, which are athletic running shoes. They exceed my expectations! They are excellent quality. They look good. The sole have treads and are safe. They are easy to get on and off, and they actually fold back up into their carrying case without aggravation! Here is how to select your correct size: Go the Seal store link from where you see these SEAL covers on Amazon. View the size chart. Measure the outsole of your largest pair of shoes. Use that measurement to select your size. My athletic shoes are my largest shoes: Women's 7.5 with a bulky sole. I got the size Medium SEALS. I measured my husbands's shoe soles and purchased the Large for him. If you wear a women's size 8, I would suggest you buy the size Large. A little extra room is not going to be an issue at all. I looked at dozens of other options before finding SEAL. I am very pleased that I read carefully, watched all the videos, and purchased these. They cost a bit more, but now we have a quality product we can also use at home when we need waterproof shoe protection. Great find if I do say so myself!

I bought these to slip over my shoes when I have to navigate through grass/mud for short tasks and don't want to change out my shoes. They are durable enough for my purposes. Followed the advice of one reviewer for measuring a d choosing the correct size. I measured my hiking boots (sizes 8 & 8.5 Women's). I ordered the large and they are perfect. A little big for my casual shoes (Women's 8) but fine for my needs.

I haven’t used them in the rain yet, but they look and feel durable and well made. I sized up per other reviewer’s recommendations and I’m glad I did. These fit over my chunky Hoka shoes, but just barely. I wear a size 7.5 sneaker and purchased the large. The last photo is my shoe (7.5 Hoka) that fit in the size L.
