SEAL-KRETE ORIGINAL Waterproofing Primer/Sealer protects vertical concrete and masonry against the damaging effects of moisture penetration. It penetrates deeply into concrete pores, binding sand and cement particles to form a tough, flexible, breathable film. Original is excellent for binding chalky surfaces to improve paint adhesion on all painted and unpainted substrates including concrete block, stucco, aluminum siding, drywall, and plaster. Finally a product that actually works and performs as described. What I love about this stuff is it's thin enough to use in a garden sprayer and it goes on super easy. It dries almost perfectly clear. So clear that it was difficult to find where I started and where I ended spraying th underside of my new shed. It appears to repel water. Where it was sprayed the water beads up and just runs off. I highly recommend this product.

I have used Seal Crete concrete sealer for years. Its a high quality product that lasts several years. I’ve seen reviews where it lasts 3-5 years, maybe more.

I purchased this sealer because my bare concrete basement floor was producing a lot of concrete dust which, as well as a nuisance, is a health hazard. The Seal-Krete 100001 worked well at sealing against it. It was quick and easy to apply (I used a roller) and dried quickly.Coverage, in my case, was greater than expected. I made an initial purchase of just over half what I thought I would need, based on product information, with the intent to get the rest if I was happy with it. I am very happy with it but won't have to buy more. What I originally purchased was enough for the two coats I had planned on over the entire surface.I have since painted the floor over the sealer, which went quite well. I believe that the sealer helped the paint to cover better. I do not have a water issue so can't testify to that but I would highly recommend Seal-Krete 100001 as a general sealer and/or a base before painting concrete.

I was fixing my chimney by adding a stainless steel cap and repointing the cracked mortar between bricks. I learned from Youtube video that spraying some brick sealers can help prevent water penetrating the bricks and mortar, and actually elongate their life span. So, I bought this sealer. Applied two coats on the chimney. Still had extra left, so I sprayed on my brick patio.It remained tacky for at least a few days even looks dry. So, keep that in mind if you want to walk on the surface, you may leave dirt on it. Maybe I should have read the label carefully, which I vaguely remember says something like using on vertical surfaces.

We put Seal-Crete onto our flagstone porch to seal recent grout repair. It had 4 days in the Texas sun to dry. Then we had 24 hours of soft rain and now it is a milky, slippery mess on our flagstone. If anyone has any suggestions on how to remove this or fix it, please let us know.

I used this product to seal cracks in concrete. I fill the crack with fine playsand and then put the sealcrete in the sand and it turns hard as a brick. I put the sealkrete in a squirt bottle and wet the sand completely to the bottom. Works great

I used this to seal hairline cracks in my stucco before painting. Treated the walls a few years ago and haven't had any problems. I bought two more gallons to do a treatment this coming Fall. Great value and doesn't interfere with application of paint. It leaves a small sheen after drying but nothing that stands out. I really am impressed with this sealer.
