The color on the canvas isn't true to color, and I still have to squint to see the pattern on the paper map, but it is do-able. This has taken me over 10 hours so far (I am a little over 2/3 done), so not for beginners for sure. But nice if have a method not to get lost if taking breaks (it is approx 60 X 80 hooks? latches? long)

Love the design. Very disappointed that only one shade of blue yarn was included in kit when two shades are required to complete project. Not enough off white yarn either. Had to buy additional blue and off white yarn. Very disappointed. So sad. Made for a very expensive little rug. Do not like plastic backing. All in all, happy with finished project.

The kit comes in a plastic case in orderly set-up. Quality of mat is good. Fun and relaxing to do. Value of price is good. The reason I gave it a for as some of the design lines are hard to see where they start and/or end. Other than that it’s a perfect relaxing craft.

FIRST TIMELATCH HOOK. Some of the colors on the mat are similar in color. A little hard to tell the difference. Other than that, I'm enjoying doing it.

I Really wanted to do this latch hook, but it was practically impossible to follow along with the colors. the key didn't match the grid on the canvas and the instructions say not to follow the colors on the canvas. So you're left with no choice but to try and wing it. the colors are so similar to each other in the water area, that It's to hard to figure out what color you're supposed to use. I didn't finish this one, it just got too frustrating

I bought this last April because I love latch hooking and liked the design but agree with others the pattern is very difficult to see. I had to take a picture of it to be able to see it a little clearer. I’ve bought other latch hook kits that are way better quality. I agree for the price the pattern should be more visible. I would return it if I hadn’t bought it last April🤣
