This was purchased for a 10 yr old with no experience and it has been a wonderful project that has been completed in a few weeks.It arrived on time, was packaged well and is exactly as pictured. She was excited to have the cat design and after I gave her a few tips, insisted on doing it by herself. She worked on it every chance she had and was proud of what she accomplished.The rug is a nice size-- it fits nicely in a doorway has easy to see colored mat. Love that the edges are already bound and the non-slip backing. We have hardwood flooring so this was a bonus!My only disappointment was that one bundle of yarn had inconsistent lengths in its pieces. I did not take off any stars be there was more than enough yarn cut correctly to finish the pattern.After seeing how great this rug is put together I ordered a different cat pattern for a younger child (age 6) but she is not as interested and cannot manage to hold the rug hook and yarn as easily as the 10;yr old.I definitely recommend this company for their standard of excellence in making the craft of rug hooking fun and enjoyable.

I got his for my just turned 14 year old granddaughter. She loves cats and crafts so this was perfect. The design was very cute!

I haven't done a rug in years so it's taking some time. I also have MS and need to build up my fine motor skills. I'm hoping by the time I finish it I will have improved.Downfall...the hook with kit is to small and broke right away.I had to buy new hooks that were bigger.But will look into buying rugs again

Die Beschreibung, der Lieferumfang und die Bestandteile waren wie beschrieben.Nutzung und Inbetriebnahme:Die Anleitung und die Wolle und Hilfsmittel liessen sich ohne weitere Fragen verwenden. Das Knüpfergebnis war somit wie erwartet. Keinerlei Beanstandung. Die Farben waren auch wie das Muster wie beschrieben. Somit war das Endergebnis auch zufriedenstellend. Wolle war ausreichend.Fazit:Der fertige Teppich war prima und dieses Produkt kann man somit weiterempfehlen.

This mat took just under 2 weeks to make, someone with a bit more time on their hands would probably get it done faster!It does take a lot of patience and you need to actually enjoy doing this kind of thing.I personally found it quite therapeutic, but I won't lie, towards the end, I did just want to get it finished!It's a very worthwhile project to take on though as you get an adorable mat at the end to look upon for years to come!I did this one for outside my 4 year Olds bedroom. Wouldn't put it near a front door or anything as it would get mucky in no time which would ruin the hard work put into it.But bedrooms doors are fine as they're not being stepped on by shoes!I will say one negative, the template on the mat did not fully match up to the instruction given, I had to improvise!They send plenty of yarn though!My Eldest is still working on another one.I would say it's about 5 steps with each piece of yarn, which is why it takes so long to complete. So as I say, you really do need a lot of patience!I saw a video of how to do it which was showing piece after piece being done quickly, in reality, this isn't the case...you'd never be able to do it that fast, as you have to get each piece in position.You can spend 2 hours on it and still only have completed a very small patch!
