The mounting holes are made of PU , which makes the leaf springs more durable and more suitable for trailers.
- Weld the tall hangers to the frame.
- Install the trailer springs to the axle using U-bolts.
- Attach the axle to the frame.
- Lock all the shackle bolts. Now they're in place.

These are awesome! Strong and durable.I have a Nomad 76 camping trailer and 1 of the leaf springs busted while traveling over some off-road dirt trails (they were old and rusty, I mean a 1976, so... haha). I got a pair or set of these and it was an easy job to do all by yourself. Just make sure to buy some new Bolt pins when replacing them. My old rusty leaf springs and bolt pins to hold them on were seriously rusted and locked on, even after using WD40 and rust eater they wouldn't budge. So I took the grinder cutter and cut those bolts off and purchased some new leaf spring bolts from the local trailer store and they fit just perfect!My original leaf springs only had 3 layers, these have 5! Which means you can carry more weight per layer. So these are better than the originalsI measured my bolt hole to bolt hole to figure out which length would fit mine and these were perfect!Plus this is the pretty much standard for most camper trailers.I give this a BIG THUMBS UP! A+++

Like a few DIY folks, I replaced my 6x10 utility trailer's factory 3,600 lbs leaf springs with these springs (rated for max 5,000 lbs). I rarely go over 3,500s on my trailer but sometimes, a front end loader does a "too high of bucket dump" and the 3,500 lbs spring bottom out (from the moving gravity dump weight). 0uch! To prepare for this suspension upgrade I proactively bought new U-Bolts, new Brass Bushings and new 3 1/8" long shackle plates (instead of factory 2" length). While each wheel was off I also power sanded the rust within the inner fender cavity area and applied flat black rust paint. Started at 2:00 PM and finished "total upgrade & painting" tasks at 7:00 PM. Glad I did the work myself and glad a did a proper inspection / refresh tasks as well. I recommend these max 5,000 leaf set for 3,500 lbs axle (especially if one is always loading near 3,200 lbs mark - on factory 3,600 lbs leafs/axle).

Back in my younger years I worked for a now relocated large spring, manufacturer in Edmonton AB. I worked the furnace and fabricated springs for everything from small trailers to Earthmover's My father also worked there as a master Springsmith. 35 years a s a freight mechanic for the Railway also So I do have a modicum of experience with steel. Workmanship in my opinion is sub standard eyes are not rolled tightly or equally one case still was a .794 mm open as per picture. I discarded the supplied nylon bushings 3 of which only required finger pressure to remove I then substituted correct sized brass bushings as came with an HD shackle and wet bolt kit non of them required a press to install and non of them were a tight fit even. Cannot speak to spring steel quality from a durability aspect as Only just got them for install. I will add an update once its seen a few trips.Fortunately they all seemed to match within " eye to eye length I did have one center bolt off by less than 1.5 mm. Center bolts had correct nut down orientation.Then on to the other downside I paid extra for expedited shipping And as usual UPS Canada did not get pkg delivered on promissory date. they arrived 6 days late in the evening. 6 Days to get package 276 km nominally a 2.5 hr trip. UPS claimed it was a label issue Only thing I could discern was sellers shipper was overzealous with protection wrapping the box they were shipped in in many layers of plastic wrap and wrapping springs themselves with a layer of closed cell foam sheet. Wish the manufacturer took the same amount of care making these.
