Well built 4 Channel XLR Snake. Nicely color coded and numbered. Heavy duty flexible cable lays flat when extended. Some cables retain their curl do to low flexibility and are a pain. So far I see no problem with the connectors they used they seem to be of good quality. I have only had it in use for about 2 months now but show far no problems. I feel like I got a great deal on this item. I sure as heck could not have built this quality of snake for what I paid for this.

It is a pretty good fit for the purpose: it gets carried in a small briefcase with a Tascam DR-680 and 4 mics and 4 color coded 10' mic cables. It feels pretty good, lies down flat w/o kinks and the connectors feel pretty durable. I won't really know how well they were made 'til I take them apart.To have gotten 5 stars it would have to have been a different product entirely, made for this purpose, skinny and supple and manufactured with long tails on one end for the mics and very short tails on the other for the recorder.

I bought this 3-4 months ago and already 2 of the XLRs are dead. I don't recommend it for daily use.. I guess if you don't use it a lot it would be fine.

I have not used the Cables yet, They look ok as far as quality, but they are not color coded as the product picture indicates. They are numbered but that is impossible to see when you are trying to identify cables from a distance.
