Love this sub. Very sturdy and durable. The sound is very clean and has a frequency control and phase switch. Plus parallel and low frequency cut outputs. Very versatile.I'm a very happy customer.

I tried to find a budget option to provide some low end to a pair of Mackie Thump Go 8s... this is NOT it. As someone else said, the enclosure itself rattles, so much so that you can't tell if the speaker is blown or something is loose inside the enclosure (neither was the case). This enclosure was built VERY cheaply. Also, the loudness itself is very inconsistent, meaning that at times I found myself checking to see if the unit was even on or if the polarity had been reversed. Nope. This just at times gives out very low output. Sometimes you'll be like, "oh, there it is" and even then the output is not impressive. As a matter of fact, I even went into the Thump app menu to turn the bass almost completely off on my two Mackies just so I could try to hear the subwoofer.I made the decision to pack it back up and ship it back. What's the point of having a subwoofer if you can barely hear it? I have a home theater subwoofer (a 10", mind you) that blows this away.If you were looking for something portable to match with your Mackies, look somewhere else.PROs:- size and portability. That's it.CONs:- pretty much everything.-low and inconsistent output.-very noisy box. Totally unacceptable.-seems like a glorified computer subwoofer, not even a home theater sub.-definitely not made for DJs unless you want to carry around a heavy paperweight just so you can say you provide a subwoofer.Just avoid and you'll be happy. If you want portable, look into the Bose Sub 1, I have the Sub 2 and it absolutely pounds. The Sub 1 would be a much better match as far as size and portability goes.

Somewhat disappointed with the purchase. Asked if the speaker r could be used for playing bass guitar and was told yes. Unfortunately, I don't think it can be. On top of that Amazon is saying that it is not eligible for return.
