Your cart is empty. Working Principle
When one end of the wicking cord is immersed in a water source (e.g. a tank or a water bottle), the water will be attracted into the inside of the rope due to capillary action. When the other end of the rope is connected to the soil, the water will penetrate upward through the rope to the soil for the plant roots to absorb, it drips at a very stable rate, and as long as the connected water source is kept sufficient, the water can be continuously supplied to the plant.Self watering rope can solve the watering problem of your plants.

Well-made synthetic rope for using with self-watering planters. Rope is a good thickness and is exactly as expected. You can cut to size needed, and better than some that are included when purchasing self-watering pots.

No pics because it's burried in the pot with a bit hanging out of the drainage hole. Works great for bottom watering!Easy to use. Pull the string through drainage hole before filling with dirt and adding plants. Set the pot on a pot liner and bottom water. The plant/soil will pull up water as needed. Makes it hard to over/under water the plant.

These work great for wicking systems at a great price. My roots grew over the ones that came with my self watering bases and so I needed a replacement and these were perfect for it. I did have to burn the tips a little to weave them through but that would be the case regardless of any replacement.

Love the ease of using this cord. And makes mass watering so much easier.

Hopefully a good answer for proper water supply. The quantity will allow some experimentation. The same stuff that all the pots are supplied with.

With this self watering rope you can set up a watering system so you never have to worry about your plants while on a vacation or just being to busy with life to be watering plants all the time. I took the rope and cut a piece long enough to go from the roots to the bottom water reservoir in the bottom of the planter. If you have monsteras it’s not a good idea to have the plant sitting in water as there is a big chance you’ll get root rot and that kills your plants!

No need to worry about throwing the old ropes away after use. Great amount for the price. Allows plants to absorb the amount of water it needs.
