Not recommended for an iPhone 16 Pro MaxSlid it into the case .... and it was quite tight ... and snap was able to get it to slide in. The case is not quite thick enough and the "snap" was the case flexing around the phone lens. So far, so good.Problem arose when trying to get the phone out. Zowie!!!! It was stuck. The lens were caught behind the case lip and it would not pull out with normal finger force. Used a screwdriver to flex the case and got 1 lens released. Screwed around and finally managed to pull it free. Time invested? More than 5 min while trying to only pry on case parts and NOT the phone.Maybe it is OK for other phones? Maybe the case was slightly out of spec for the phone thickness? I have no idea.I WON'T slide my phone in there a 2nd time!!!

This selfie-stick with an underwater phone case and accessories would be great for a beach vacation. The twist-lock stick extends about a meter and has a multi-position phone grip with a screw-down clamp. The base of the stick can be attached to a lanyard or the included tripod. The rigid waterproof phone case includes a slide insert with suction cups to hold the device in place and appears solid, with a screw-sealed gasketed door. Two mounts are provided, with different diameter locking nuts to fit the waterproof case and the phone clamp. A Bluetooth® shutter button (NOT waterproof) is also supplied, along with a clip-on bracket that could possibly fit a controller.It does take some fiddling and preparation to use the stick (and especially the case). Controlling the phone while inside the case is best done via a diving smart watch or similar device, as the phone is basically inaccessible when sealed. The case does allow the use of both the front and back cameras. The screw mount for the case does not fit the pivot clamp on the stick well, requiring effort to work it into position to insert the pivot bolt.I like the tripod, which folds to roughly the diameter of the grip and makes it easy to leave the tripod attached while roaming between vistas. All-in-all, a nice outfit with multiple capabilities.Full disclosure: I ordered this Selfie Stick through the Amazon Vine program.
